About Us
Why this website?
Our initial reasons for starting this website were two-fold. First, people ask us for our program on a nearly weekly basis and we thought it would be nice to have a link to give people rather than write out a program every time. The second reason that we started this website is because we both have seen people lift year after year without seeing results. We hope that those people will find this website so that they can stop spinning their wheels and begin to really see some changes. There are so many worthless and misleading programs out there that cause people to waste their time and get injured. This site is your virtual personal trainer.

Authors
Paul
Paul has been active his whole life. His current and past activities include mountain biking, competitive cycling, martial arts, skiing, and basically anything outdoors. He started lifting in earnest over a decade ago and has built upon his many experiences to develop a powerful method to achieve total fitness. His program incorporates elements of his training from the military, training for CrossFit, and knowledge that he gained from extensive gym-tested research. His program is ideal for the person who wants to get ripped as well as develop significant endurance. He manages the "Cut and Lean" page. If you want to get in the best shape of your life and mix endurance with explosive strength, his program is for you.

Zach
Zach has also been training for over a decade. Naturally tall and skinny, he had a very difficult time putting on weight and gaining strength. He was tired of working hard in the gym month after month without seeing results. Finally, he began asking the biggest guys in the gym for advice. He learned from their words of wisdom as well as from his experiences training as a defensive end for BYU, lifting with players in the NFL, and doing extensive research on his own. Since identifying principles that work, he has trained dozens of individuals (including trainers at Gold's Gym who want to know how to help their clients). His main emphasis is building size and strength. His program is ideal for those who seek to experience significant increases in both explosive strength and muscle mass. At his strongest point his benching max was 460 lbs. and his squat max was 550 lbs. He has the goal to get his bench up to 500 lbs. and his squat up to 700 lbs. He manages the "Size and Strength" page. If you want to break through any plateaus, his program is for you.

Note: This program is meant for the working man. Both of us have worked full-time for the last several years while taking classes on the side. Our workouts are meant to give you significant results without dedicating your life to the gym. These workouts are meant to be feasible for those with a very busy schedule. You don't need to spend more than 45 minutes in the gym to see great results.
